This document is a course supplement: it is not a complete course. Further study requires the assistance of an instructor, and furthermore, a number of topics have not been covered.

The content of this document is derived from the course "Introduction to Web Programming in JAVA." The structure of both documents is the same. We have simply replaced the Java code with PHP code. For readers familiar with Java and PHP, these two documents allow for a comparison of a Java solution and a PHP solution for the same problem.

In this document, students will find the information they need to work independently most of the time.
